Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Florentius Scheuss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lionel Butterfinger!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butterfinger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Scheuss is trying hard to land a takedown here. Butterfinger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Butterfinger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Butterfinger moves into range and connects with a jab.
Scheuss tries for a takedown but Butterfinger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Butterfinger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Butterfinger scores with a nice right hand.
Scheuss closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Butterfinger to the mat! Butterfinger manages to get full guard.
Scheuss is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Scheuss definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Butterfinger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Scheuss not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scheuss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scheuss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Scheuss's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Scheuss slows the pace down.

Scheuss is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Butterfinger is trying to escape and Scheuss transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Butterfinger is forced to tap! Nice work there by Scheuss! Very nice indeed!

A relieved looking Florentius Scheuss thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
