PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean O Malley (ranked 1365 p4p, 1739 weight class) and Conner Travers (ranked 140 p4p, 184 weight class). O Malley comes into the arena with Goat Talk- Sugar Sean blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean O Malley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Conner Travers!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by O Malley. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of O Malley.
Travers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
O Malley tries to land a front kick but Travers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
O Malley lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Travers is rocked!

It looks like Conner Travers has been cut.
O Malley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
O Malley stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Travers is still on wobbly legs! Can O Malley finish him?
Travers tries to close the distance and clinch up but O Malley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That kick from O Malley tenderised Travers's leg. Travers is trying to keep his angry face on.
O Malley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Travers takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
O Malley throws a pinpoint strike between Travers's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Travers crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and O Malley scores a great knockout victory!
