Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Android Seventeen (ranked 2929 p4p, 5345 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 367 p4p, 568 weight class). Seventeen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Limit break x survivor. James Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Android Seventeen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Jones! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Seventeen. Seventeen gets a clinch. Jones stalls. Seventeen breaks the clinch.
Jones rushes Seventeen and presses him up against the cage. Jones is defending well against a takedown attempt. Seventeen tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Seventeen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones stops a takedown attempt from Seventeen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seventeen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. James Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones misses with a looping right. Jones throws the left hand but Seventeen avoids the punch easily. It looked like Seventeen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones. Seventeen fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lazy left from Jones finds it's target. Seventeen has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Seventeen shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jones! But no joy. Seventeen staying out of range there. Seventeen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Seventeen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Seventeen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Seventeen tries for a takedown. No joy.

Seventeen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones keeps the fight on the outside. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jones! But no joy. Jones lands an overhand right. Jones missing with a left hand there. Seventeen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Seventeen fails with the takedown. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jones punishes Seventeen's body with a nice straight punch. Jones darts in and clinches Seventeen up against the cage. Seventeen blocking some punches.

This has been an exciting period of action! Seventeen wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jones is now in half guard. Jones decides to stand and escape the position. Seventeen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
James Jones dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Jones throws a hook to the side of Seventeen's head but Seventeen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jones thows a left - swing and a miss! Seventeen throws a counter high kick but Jones was just alert enough to avoid it. Seventeen closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Seventeen pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Seventeen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Seventeen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Seventeen throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Seventeen manages to avoid it. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Seventeen. Seventeen gets slowly back to his feet. Seventeen with a poor takedown and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Seventeen. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seventeen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones. James Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Seventeen takes one to the chin there. Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Seventeen gets slowly back to his feet. Jones misses with an uppercut. Seventeen saw that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Seventeen feinted with a counter takedown. Seventeen looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. A decent looking cross lands there for Jones. Seventeen clinches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Seventeen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Seventeen clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage. Seventeen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Seventeen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Seventeen does a little dance to reset his feet. Seventeen tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jones manages to circle out of the way. Seventeen moves into the clinch. Jones is trying to push Seventeen away but Seventeen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Seventeen is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. Seventeen is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Seventeen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jones blocks it with crossed arms. Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. James Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Jones fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Seventeen on the side of the head. Android Seventeen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones cracks Seventeen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Seventeen ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Seventeen tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Seventeen misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Seventeen slips the punch. Seventeen shoots in but no luck this time. Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jones clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seventeen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Seventeen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Seventeen tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones. Seventeen slips a jab from Jones. Jones blocks a jab. Jones misses with an uppercut. As Jones tries to get set, Seventeen tries to push him back and clinch up but Jones manages to avoid the attempt. Seventeen fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Android Seventeen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seventeen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Seventeen looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Jones misses the shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones connects with a right hand. Seventeen shakes it off. Seventeen fails with the takedown. Seventeen clinches up against the cage. James Jones seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Seventeen is looking to take this one to the mat. Seventeen tries a body shot but Jones blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to control Seventeen's arms but Seventeen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the cage. Jones tries to stall but Seventeen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Seventeen crunches a lovely knee into Jones's ribcage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jones misses with a hook from the clinch. Seventeen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seventeen shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Seventeen shoots in. Seventeen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Seventeen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seventeen misses with a body kick. Seventeen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. Seventeen dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Seventeen's head and hops out. Jones has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Jones connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Seventeen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Seventeen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Seventeen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! James Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
