Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgy Brah (ranked 16088 p4p, 21509 weight class) and Samuel Lizard (ranked 132 p4p, 125 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 26 - 1, fighting out of New York, Edgy Brah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samuel Lizard! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brah moves into the clinch. Lizard breaks from the clinch.
Brah tries to clinch and Lizard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brah closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brah lands in his opponent's guard. Brah controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lizard wants to stand up but Brah is controlling him. Lizard seems keen to control Brah's posture. Brah throws a big elbow that misses. Brah stopping the sweep attempt from Lizard. Brah thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lizard wants to get back to his feet but Brah is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lizard is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Let's hope that Lizard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lizard looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lizard is looking to stand up but Brah isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Lizard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lizard scores with a jab to the head.
Brah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lizard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brah misses with a lunging right hand
and Lizard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brah thinking. Lizard throws a right hand that Brah ducks under and follows up with a left that Brah also avoids with ease. Brah closes the distance looking to clinch and Lizard counters with a stiff right hand. Lizard lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Brah blocks a jab. Brah tries to bum rush Lizard with a series of wild strikes but Lizard uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lizard lands a really nice looking cross but Brah seems unphased.
Lizard throws a right hand that Brah ducks under and follows up with a left that Brah also avoids with ease. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brah takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Samuel Lizard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brah fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lizard, pushing him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lizard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lizard lands the left hand. Brah jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lizard has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nice body punch from Brah. Lizard paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Lizard lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lizard connects with a nice looking jab.
Lizard cracks Brah with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Brah closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lizard connects with the punch. Lizard is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brah had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Brah tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lizard lands a stunning uppercut that sends Brah to the mat!
Brah is rocked! It looks like Lizard is going to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brah trying to hold on to Lizard's head to control him but Lizard postures up.
Lizard tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Lizard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Nice shot by Brah. Lizard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lizard wants it to stay on the feet. Lizard lands a jab to Brah's midsection. Brah is breathing heavily. Brah tries to clinch but Lizard moves away and Lizard counters with a one-two to the body. Lizard cracks Brah with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brah closes the distance looking to clinch and Brah is countered with a crisp right hand from Lizard that sends him to the canvas! Lizard follows him to the mat into side control. Oh Brah is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Lizard stands up and we're back to a striking position. Brah seems to have got his legs back now. Lizard lands with an overhand left. Lizard connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Brah! He's out on his feet! Lizard rushes in and drops Brah with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Samuel Lizard!
