PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Kekoa (ranked 1989 p4p, 1108 weight class) and John Titor (ranked 252 p4p, 149 weight class). Titor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by John Titor-Going To Space. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eddie Kekoa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Titor!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Topper Green and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Titor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kekoa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Titor scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Titor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Kekoa might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

John Titor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kekoa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Titor is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kekoa.

Kekoa postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Titor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kekoa, into his guard.

Titor content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kekoa has locked up a guillotine! Kekoa's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Titor is holding on here and Kekoa must be using up a lot of energy. Titor has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kekoa gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Eddie Kekoa!
Our winner, Eddie Kekoa, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
