Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Fray (ranked 3889 p4p, 5132 weight class) and Vadius Highwind (ranked 471 p4p, 579 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highwind throws a nice looking combination but Fray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Highwind jabs at Fray's body.
Fray cracks Highwind with an open hand slap.
Fray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fray swinging wildly here.
Highwind doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Highwind takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fray scores with the left hand. Highwind knows he should have avoided that one.
Fray throws a right hand that Highwind ducks under and follows up with a left that Highwind also avoids with ease.
Highwind is looking for the big counter here.
Highwind swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fray throwing a counter right hand but Highwind manages to avoid it.
Fray walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Highwind cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fray throws a series of punches but Highwind avoids them all with ease.
Highwind staying out of range there.
Fray lands a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fray is pawing at Highwind, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Highwind's nose. Highwind is badly hurt! Fray pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Highwind tries desperately to hold on but Fray is relentless in his assault! As Highwind receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Fray away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spencer Fray!
