Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lars Phantom!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAlroy misses with a hook.
McAlroy lands with a cross.

so Phantom counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McAlroy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McAlroy keeping moving, preventing Phantom from controlling successfully.
Phantom landing some decent shots from guard.
McAlroy wants to sweep here but Phantom controlling him for the moment.
Phantom scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
McAlroy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McAlroy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McAlroy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Phantom chips away with some ground and pound.
Phantom looking to sit in guard and control but McAlroy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Phantom seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

McAlroy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Phantom is working away from the top position though.
Phantom perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

McAlroy has hold of Phantom's hands but Phantom slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McAlroy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Phantom on the ground.
Phantom is trying to control the action in half guard but McAlroy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Phantom passes to side control.
Phantom lands a nice forearm strike.

McAlroy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
McAlroy is rocked!
A lull in the action here.
Oh McAlroy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McAlroy seems to have got his legs back now.
McAlroy gets back to half guard.
Phantom seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McAlroy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

McAlroy has hold of Phantom's hands but Phantom slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Phantom winds up and cracks McAlroy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
McAlroy wants to control but Phantom is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Phantom scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Phantom lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McAlroy quite badly. McAlroy pulls Phantom in close trying to recover. Phantom postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McAlroy on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McAlroy doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lars Phantom!
