Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Spring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lord comes to the cage accompanied by None. Spring has chosen Human as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyson Spring!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord has a takedown stuffed.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Spring has eaten all the pies!
Spring shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lord counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lord stands up out of Spring's guard for a moment - Spring manages to land a nice upkick.
Lord tries to free his leg and advance position but Spring is retaining full guard.
Lord works over Spring with some ground and pound from guard.
Lord with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lord knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spring on the ground.
Lord won't allow Spring to sweep him here.
Spring trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lord postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Spring cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Spring gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Lord counters with a nice double leg into side control. Spring won't be happy with that.
Lord cracks Spring with a big right hand but Spring just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spring can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lord, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
