Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Hutchinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taylor Momsen! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Momsen has managed to clinch.
Hutchinson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hutchinson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hutchinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hutchinson looking for a sweep. Not yet Hutchinson, not yet. Momsen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hutchinson controlling the position. Momsen wants to stand and escape but Hutchinson is having none of it. Hutchinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hutchinson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Momsen wants to clinch up but Hutchinson keeps it at a distance. Hutchinson shoots in looking for a takedown. Momsen tries to sprawl out of it but Hutchinson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Momsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Momsen looks to clinch and Hutchinson counters with a takedown into side control. Momsen pushes Hutchinson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hutchinson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Momsen tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hutchinson content just to control the position here. Hutchinson scoring with strikes but Momsen is staying in there. Momsen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hutchinson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Momsen wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Hutchinson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Momsen is surviving well by controlling Hutchinson's body position as best he can. Momsen blocking the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hutchinson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hutchinson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hutchinson controlling from the full mount. Momsen is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Hutchinson controlling his opponent. Hutchinson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Hutchinson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Momsen quickly recovers to half guard. Hutchinson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hutchinson passes the guard and advances to mount! Hutchinson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hutchinson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Hutchinson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hutchinson has his foot on Momsen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Momsen works his way back into a safe position though.

He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hutchinson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Momsen uses from the top position. Hutchinson has control of Momsen's left arm, preventing Momsen from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
