Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Smash Machine finds it's way through Roger's defenses.
Roger throws out a loose jab but Smash Machine uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smash Machine displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roger throws out the jab.
Roger connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Clinch King Smash Machine has been cut.
Roger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Smash Machine.
Smash Machine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Roger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Smash Machine cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Smash Machine throws a nice outside leg kick.

and Roger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Roger lands a slapping body shot.
Roger shoots in for a takedown but Smash Machine shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smash Machine tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Roger changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
The fighters circling - Roger throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Smash Machine tries to counter by clinching up but Roger breaks away and moves out of range.

and Smash Machine counters with a huge left! Roger is in big trouble! He's backing up but Smash Machine isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Roger from any more damage. A dominating finish by Smash Machine!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clinch King Smash Machine!
A less than humble Clinch King Smash Machine misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
