Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Orcaba (ranked 5129 p4p, 2143 weight class) and Mikael White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Orcaba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikael White! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orcaba shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Orcaba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. White lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Orcaba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. White blocking the ground and pound attempt from Orcaba. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orcaba trying to pass the guard but White defending well. Orcaba thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed White's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orcaba missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Orcaba not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orcaba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth. Orcaba lands with a punch from half guard. Orcaba thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.

Orcaba not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Orcaba lands strikes from half guard. Orcaba throwing shots but White is blocking nicely. Orcaba controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orcaba thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed White's head. White avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Orcaba. Orcaba thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.
Orcaba seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. White trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orcaba lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Orcaba content just to control the position here. BOOM! Orcaba connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Orcaba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Orcaba cracks White with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Orcaba breaks from White's wrist control and lands an elbow. We've been informed that White has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Orcaba tries to control but White wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orcaba tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by Orcaba. Orcaba landing strikes, looking to finish! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Orcaba breaks from White's wrist control and lands an elbow. Orcaba lands a couple of good shots and White has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Orcaba really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for White. Orcaba throwing damaging strikes from the back! White could be in trouble here!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Orcaba dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Orcaba fails with a takedown attempt. White appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Orcaba gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Orcaba takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. No luck for Orcaba with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Orcaba. That's going to take a lot out of him. White stuns Orcaba with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orcaba is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round. Orcaba fails with the takedown and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Orcaba is rocked! Orcaba has his takedown stuffed and White counters with a lovely shot to the body. White grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Orcaba takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! White cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mikael White! Mikael White really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that X-Treme Clothing™ logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
