This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 13 losses; Bart Cubbedge ! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Cubbedge closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Al Jhit quickly recovers to half guard. Cubbedge is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Al Jhit regains full guard. Nicely done. Al Jhit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cubbedge working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Cubbedge wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Al Jhit sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Al Jhit is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
