Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craig Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilberto Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Craig Regan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gilberto Souza!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Regan tries for a takedown but Souza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Regan fails to land the takedown.
Regan tries a head kick but it misses.
Souza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Regan.
Souza looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice uppercut there from Regan.
It looks like Gilberto Souza has been cut.
Regan shoots in for a double leg but Souza sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Regan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Souza takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Regan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
so Souza counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Regan is breathing heavily.
Souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Regan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Souza throwing strikes but missing.
Regan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Souza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Regan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Souza's back instead.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Souza wants to control his opponent's hands but Regan gets his hands free.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Souza is trying to break free.
Regan has Souza flattened out and is raining down punches.
Souza tries to escape the position.
Souza just trying to survive but Regan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Souza won't enjoy being in this position. Regan looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Souza is tapping - it's over boys! Regan picks up the submission victory!
