The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Brown.
Ribeiro moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.
Brown is trying to counter with his kicks.

Ribeiro closes the distance and clinches.
Ribeiro tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ribeiro is trying to pull guard but Brown has him pressed against the cage.
Brown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ribeiro manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Ribeiro not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Ribeiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ribeiro is tightening it up a little... Brown has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Brown reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Brown taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ribeiro!
