And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Garcia had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gambatesa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Garcia Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gambatesa's back instead.

Garcia has hold of Gambatesa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gambatesa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Garcia is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gambatesa has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Garcia has control of Gambatesa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gambatesa regains control of the situation pretty easily.
