Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rasmus Reedtz (ranked 802 p4p, 150 weight class) and Ultima Koivisto (ranked 109 p4p, 21 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ultima Koivisto!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reedtz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Reedtz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koivisto swivels and escapes.

Koivisto feints and then cracks Reedtz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reedtz down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've been hearing that Reedtz has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Koivisto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reedtz in particular looking to stall.
Koivisto felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reedtz connects with a nice short shot to Koivisto's temple.
Reedtz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Reedtz is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Koivisto to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Reedtz has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Koivisto to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Reedtz is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Koivisto pulls down on the head and he's put Reedtz to sleep! This one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Ultima Koivisto thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
