Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Nik Snow (ranked 1872 p4p, 2640 weight class) and Richard Pryor (ranked 204 p4p, 275 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 16 - 4, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nik Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Richard Pryor! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pryor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Snow. Pryor on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A slapping body kick lands there for Snow. Pryor avoids the body shot from Snow.
Snow throws a shot from downtown. Pryor moves away and avoids it. Pryor cracks Snow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Pryor feints and then cracks Snow's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snow down. A slapping body kick lands there for Pryor. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pryor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Snow misses with a looping left. Pryor flicks out a counter leg kick but Snow steps away. Pryor moves out of range of the body kick. Pryor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Snow jabbing away but nothing is landing. Snow dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snow tries to score with a low kick but Pryor moves his leg out of the way. Pryor fails in his attempt to clinch. A looping hook to the body misses from Snow. Pryor does a little dance to reset his feet. Pryor throws a front kick aimed at Snow's knee but Snow avoids it well. Snow checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Pryor wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pryor throws a low kick but Snow avoids it. A jab from Pryor misses. Snow has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Clark's Champion's in the buildup to the fight. A bone on bone clash there as Pryor blocks the leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pryor misses with a looping left. Snow tests Pryor's chin there with a solid looking shot. Pryor tries to clinch but Snow is having none of it. Pryor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Snow looks to land a combination but Pryor avoids it well. Pryor with a nice calf kick. Snow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Snow misses with a low kick. Pryor unleashes a big counter combination but Snow bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Snow checks a leg kick. Snow takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Snow throws a half hearted mid kick. Snow throws a half hearted mid kick. Pryor throws a big shot that misses. Snow fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pryor has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Snow scores with a push kick. Pryor tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Snow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pryor looks to land a left hand but Snow moved out of range nicely. Pryor pivots, looking for a leg kick but Snow is out of range and Pryor settles back down. Pryor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Snow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pryor sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pryor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pryor throws a lazy body kick and Snow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pryor's knee momentarily. Pryor cracks Snow with a right hand to the side of the head. Pryor cracks Snow with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Richard Pryor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snow misses with a low kick.

He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Snow lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Snow throws a body kick that misses. Snow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Pryor looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range. Pryor scores with a head kick. Snow tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Pryor throws out a loose jab but Snow uses good head movement to avoid it. Snow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Snow throws a push kick but Pryor slaps the foot to one side. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pryor looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range. Pryor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snow. Snow explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Pryor misses with a looping left. Snow tries a head kick but it misses.

Pryor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Snow is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Snow throws a jab but it's blocked by Pryor. Snow is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Snow moves out of range of the body kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snow is looking to land body kicks. Snow goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Snow throws a right hand that Pryor ducks under and follows up with a left that Pryor also avoids with ease. Pryor will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That was a close round but I would say that Nik Snow will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Snow paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Pryor takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nik Snow is winning the standup battle so far. Snow connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Pryor is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pryor just misses with a punch to the body.
Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Snow throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pryor on the side of the head. Snow lands a slapping body shot.
A big left from Snow misses. Pryor was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Pryor finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Snow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Pryor loads up on a big right hand but Snow slips the punch. That was a close second round but I would say that Nik Snow will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! The crowd cheers as Pryor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Snow doesn't seem phased though. Pryor has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Snow throws a sloppy head kick and Pryor moves out of range easily. Pryor throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Pryor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Snow. Snow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Pryor misses with a wild body shot. Snow connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. That kick from Snow tenderised Pryor's leg. Pryor is trying to keep his angry face on. Pryor walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Snow checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Pryor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Snow under the eye. Snow scores with the left hand. Pryor knows he should have avoided that one. Snow moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pryor connects with a nice looking jab.
Snow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nik Snow. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
