Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caelan Aengus (ranked 4202 p4p, 25015 weight class) and Narcisse Stevie (ranked 496 p4p, 682 weight class). Narcisse Stevie has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caelan Aengus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Narcisse Stevie! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Aengus. Stevie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stevie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aengus was covering up waiting for the punch and Stevie finishes the takedown easily into guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stevie working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Stevie postures up in Aengus's guard and throws a big left but Aengus blocks it. Aengus is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Aengus might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stevie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stevie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Aengus tries to get to full guard but Stevie has control of the leg. Stevie with the ground and pound but Aengus uses the opportunity to regain guard. Stevie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Aengus looking for a sweep. Not yet Aengus, not yet. Stevie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stevie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stevie postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stevie is looking to work some ground and pound but Aengus has wrist control. Stevie content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Aengus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Aengus tries to get out of the position. Aengus working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stevie. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Narcisse Stevie dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Stevie shoots and misses and Aengus counters with a stiff right hand. Stevie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aengus counters with a right hand to the body. Aengus fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stevie walks into a stiff left hand from Aengus. Aengus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Aengus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevie ducks right into an uppercut from Aengus. Stevie tries for a takedown but Aengus circles away easily and Aengus counters with a straight right hand. Caelan Aengus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Narcisse Stevie. Aengus lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stevie backs up against the cage.
Narcisse Stevie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Aengus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stevies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Stevie is rocked! Aengus cracks a nice hook into Stevie's ribs. Stevie is breathing heavily. Aengus works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Stevie is still on wobbly legs! Can Aengus finish him? Stevie walks straight into a right hand from Aengus - that's dropped him! Aengus jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Stevie from any more punishment! Stevie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Caelan Aengus! After the fight, Caelan Aengus was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
