This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 16 losses; Richard Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lavicci is defended easily by Morgan.
Morgan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lavicci misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lavicci goes for a double leg but Morgan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Morgan continues to drive forward.
Morgan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lavicci defends it well.

Lavicci is trying to pull guard but Morgan turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morgan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lavicci to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Morgan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lavicci pulls down on the head and he's put Morgan to sleep! This one is all over!
