Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bento Barboza (ranked 252 p4p, 587 weight class) and Victor Contreiras (ranked 44 p4p, 83 weight class). Barboza comes to the cage accompanied by Angel Of Death. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barboza slips a jab and a cross from Contreiras.
Barboza tried to counter with a leg kick but Contreiras avoided it.
Barboza is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Bento Barboza has been cut.
Barboza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Contreiras swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Barboza has Contreiras pressed against the cage, preventing Contreiras from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Contreiras is trying to break the clinch but Barboza has him pressed against the cage.

Barboza has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Barboza lands an elbow that stopped Contreiras in his tracks for a moment.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Barboza creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Contreiras chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barboza can pounce on him.

Victor Contreiras's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
