Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Brooks (ranked 804 p4p, 1485 weight class) and Benjamin Sisko (ranked 117 p4p, 201 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Sisko!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sisko checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sisko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brooks defends it well.
Sisko works the jab nicely.
Sisko slips under a jab.
Brooks wants to slow Sisko down by chopping away at his legs.
Sisko dips to his left and cracks Brooks with an uppercut!
Brooks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sisko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brooks scores with a shot to the body.
Sisko misses with a hook. Brooks ducked under it nicely.
Brooks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sisko.
Brooks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brooks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sisko. That did some damage!

Sisko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brooks is trying to defend but Sisko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Brooks is defending against the submission attempts here by Sisko.
Sisko wants to free his trapped foot but Brooks is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sisko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Brooks is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at London MMA Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Sisko wants to take a breather but Brooks is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brooks has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sisko is working away from the top position though.
Sisko has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Brooks tries to lock up and control but Sisko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sisko looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Brooks is trying desperately to improve position.

Sisko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brooks prevents any damage by holding on tight.

Brooks bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sisko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brooks defends it easily.

Sisko has his foot on Brooks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brooks works his way back into a safe position though.

Brooks stands up and waves to Sisko to follow him.
Brooks misses with a series of wild punches.

Benjamin Sisko dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sisko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brooks paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sisko takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Brooks gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brooks has momentary wrist control but Sisko slips an elbow through the middle.
Sisko wants to control from the top but Brooks keeps moving.
Brooks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brooks in particular looking to stall.
Sisko controlling the position well.

Sisko is looking to control Brooks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sisko avoid being mounted?
Brooks is keen to just control but Sisko is a slippery customer.
Brooks wants to pass to mount but Sisko is defending the position.
Sisko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brooks moves into full mount! Sisko won't be happy about that!

Brooks postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sisko looks a forlorn figure.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

so Sisko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sisko working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Sisko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Sisko is looking to cinch up a triangle. Brooks throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sisko's body to avoid the submission. Sisko has instead reached around Brooks's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sisko arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
