Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cayden Abner (ranked 782 p4p, 1101 weight class) and Fidelity Castro (ranked 124 p4p, 176 weight class). Abner comes into the arena with Bulls On Parade blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Cayden Abner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cayden Abner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cayden Abner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fidelity Castro! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abner connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Castro throws a nice looking combination but Abner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Abner blocks the body kick.
Castro throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Abner to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Fidelity Castro has been cut. Castro chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A lazy left from Castro finds it's target. Castro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Abner is able to avoid easily. Castro jabbing away but nothing is landing. Abner pushes Castro up against the cage in a clinch. Abner misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Castro lands a hook that snaps the head of Abner backwards. Abner blocking some punches.
Castro manages to break the clinch.
Castro digs a good body shot into Abner's ribs. This has been an exciting period of action! Castro lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Abner. Castro does a little dance to reset his feet. Despite the aggression on Castro's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Castro misses with a few strikes there.
Abner throws a chopping leg kick but Castro manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Castro throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've been hearing reports that Abner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Castro throws a leg kick that misses. Abner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Castro tries to clinch but Abner moves away and Abner makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Abner dips to his left and cracks Castro with an uppercut! Castro lands a nice looking body shot.
Abner throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Castro's head. Castro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Abner is looking to counter with a body kick. A punch combination from Castro misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Castro throws a looping overhand right but Abner ducks down to avoid it. It looked like Abner wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Castro lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Abner appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Fidelity Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abner throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Abner on the wrong end of a nice jab. Abner missing with a left hand there. Castro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Abner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Castro.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castro darts in trying to clinch and Abner counters with a straight right hand. Castro drives through and clinches with Abner against the cage.

Castro is trying to force a seperation but Abner has the dominant position. Abner scores with a shoulder strike. Castro wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Castro misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Castro tries to break free but Abner pushes him back against the cage. Abner tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Castro's elbow. Abner stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Abner stalling in the clinch but Castro improves position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abner lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Castro backwards. Castro throws a punch but it's blocked by Abner. Castro breaks the clinch.
Castro lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Castro. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Castro clinches with his opponent.
Abner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Castro walks away with a smile on his face. Abner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Castro throws a right and a left that Abner avoids nicely. Abner fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Castro checks it well. Castro swinging wildly here.
Castro gets off balance looking for a body kick and Abner moves into the clinch. Castro tries to break free but Abner pushes him back against the cage. Castro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Castro tries to clinch and Abner counters with a leg kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fidelity Castro will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Castro throws a sloppy body shot
letting Abner counter with a right hand. Castro moves away from the strike by Abner. Castro uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Abner has time to react. Abner delivers a nice body kick. Castro misses with a straight right. Abner takes one to the side of the head.
Castro misses with a hook. Abner ducked under it nicely. A swing and a miss from Castro. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Castro connects with a looping right hand.
Abner swats away the attempt to clinch by Castro. Castro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castro has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Abner. Castro jabbing away but nothing is landing. Castro throws a low kick but Abner moves out of range easily. Castro looks to land a combination but Abner avoids it well. Abner darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Abner jabbing away but nothing is landing. Castro throws a combination that misses and Abner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Castro is breathing heavily. Castro misses with a hook
and Abner counters with a nice right hand that sends Castro toppling to the canvas! Castro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Abner finish him?!
Castro is rocked!
That has opened up Fidelity Castro's cut even more. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A head kick by Castro misses and Abner counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Castro is still on wobbly legs! Can Abner finish him? Abner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A solid body kick from Abner. Cayden Abner is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abner ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Castro out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cayden Abner! Cayden Abner was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
