PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Za Beast (ranked 3286 p4p, 5724 weight class) and Bsmds Nasmfus (ranked 442 p4p, 633 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bsmds Nasmfus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nasmfus clinches up with Beast and pushes him back against the cage.
Nasmfus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nasmfus is pressed up against the cage. Beast has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nasmfus down to the mat. Nasmfus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nasmfus forces Beast back against the cage and clinches.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Beast looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nasmfus passes into half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nasmfus working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nasmfus can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
