Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Syngin Colchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cecil Lightning!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Colchester looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lightning lands a nice leg kick that just misses Colchester's sensitive parts.

Lightning bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Colchester's head backwards.

Colchester looks to score with a jab to the body but Lightning is just out of range.

Colchester changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lightning tries to avoid it but Colchester manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lightning to the ground. Lightning escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lightning has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Colchester, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
