Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eduard Folayang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Brock!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock jabs at Folayang's body.
Folayang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A lazy left from Brock finds it's target.
Folayang gets caught flat footed, as Brock shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Brock controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Brock content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Brock stands up over Folayang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Brock chips away with some ground and pound.
It looks like Eduard Folayang has been cut.
Folayang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Brock scoring with punches to the head and body.
Brock is working Folayang over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Brock controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brock with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Brock makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Folayang is rocked!
Eduard Folayang's cut is getting worse.
Brock arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Folayang's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Eddie Brock!
After winning the bout, Eddie Brock thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
