This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 13 losses; Artur Azaryan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 12 losses; Esteban Mondragon!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Mondragon closes the distance and clinches.
Mondragon goes for a takedown attempt but Azaryan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Azaryan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mondragon tries to avoid it but Azaryan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mondragon to the ground. Mondragon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
