The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFoy goes for a double leg but Koskinen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Koskinen continues to drive forward.
McFoy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Koskinen fails with an attempt to clinch.
McFoy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Koskinen was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Killian Koskinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian McFoy.

and Koskinen counters with a good low kick that McFoy was not able to check.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Koskinen is on top in guard.

McFoy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Koskinen is desperately trying to improve his position but McFoy has a good base and remains in mount.

The referee warns Koskinen that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

McFoy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Koskinen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Koskinen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
