Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonas Petrauskas (ranked 4442 p4p, 4592 weight class) and Ben Ahwile (ranked 511 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antonas Petrauskas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Ahwile! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrauskas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Petrauskas tries to clinch but Ahwile is having none of it. Petrauskas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ahwile tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Petrauskas is in Ahwile's guard. Petrauskas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ahwile preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Petrauskas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Petrauskas is looking to work some ground and pound but Ahwile has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ahwile holds on and takes a little breather. Petrauskas lands a couple of decent looking shots. Petrauskas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ahwile trying to keep a closed guard but Petrauskas is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ahwile bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Petrauskas's guard. Ahwile wants to pass the guard but Petrauskas is keeping the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Petrauskas holds on and takes a little breather. Petrauskas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Petrauskas tries to get out of the position. Ahwile works a leg free and moves into half guard. Ahwile is keen to just control but Petrauskas is a slippery customer. Ahwile sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Petrauskas defending well though. Petrauskas has Ahwile pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Petrauskas pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ahwile tumbling to the mat - Petrauskas dives into Ahwile's guard.

Ahwile wants to control but Petrauskas is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ahwile is positioning himself well to prevent Petrauskas advancing to mount. Petrauskas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ahwile has his hands clasped together around Petrauskas's back. He's all about the action. Petrauskas is working for a kimura but Ahwile is defending it quite comfortably.

Petrauskas tries to get to full guard but Ahwile has control of the leg. Ahwile wants to take a breather but Petrauskas is having none of it. Petrauskas controlling the position well. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ahwile is trying to control. Petrauskas wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ahwile slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Petrauskas wants to clinch up but Ahwile keeps it at a distance. Ahwile changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Antonas Petrauskas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Petrauskas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ahwile. Ahwile circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ahwile uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Petrauskas. Petrauskas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ahwile's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Petrauskas is looking to work some ground and pound but Ahwile has wrist control. Ahwile lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Ahwile advances to half guard. Petrauskas tries to get to full guard but Ahwile has control of the leg. Ahwile uses his free foot to push down on Petrauskas's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Petrauskas. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ahwile takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ahwile trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ahwile controlling from mount. Ahwile prevents Petrauskas from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ahwile tries to control but Petrauskas wriggling away. Petrauskas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ahwile can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Petrauskas is looking to escape. Ben Ahwile has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
