The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correia throws a poor cross that misses
and Potku cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Potku looks to land a left hand but Correia moved out of range nicely.
We've been informed that Potku has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Correia walks into a straight right hand from Potku.

Potku drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Correia walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It seemed like Potku was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Oh Correia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Correia with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Potku to score with a decent uppercut.
Potku circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Correia to the canvas! Correia doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Potku keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
