Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Albert Brennam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thom Yorke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yorke has chosen Paranoid Android as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Brennam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Thom Yorke! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yorke shoots in but no luck this time. Brennam uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yorke has time to react. Brennam throws a hook to the side of Yorke's head but Yorke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Yorke moves into range and clinches up with Brennam. Yorke fails to pull guard.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Yorke as Brennam tries to tie him up. Brennam tries to break the clinch but Yorke is controlling the position. Yorke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Brennam misses with a wild combination.
Yorke shoots in and bounces Brennam off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Brennam looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Yorke lands a couple of digs. Yorke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yorke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Yorke controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Yorke looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yorke stopping the sweep attempt from Brennam. Brennam trying to keep a closed guard but Yorke is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yorke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yorke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brennam is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Brennam is trying to buck Yorke off. Brennam looking for a sweep but Yorke has passed into full mount! Oh no! Yorke looking to control but Brennam is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brennam can't escape the position.
Yorke working Brennam over with strikes here. Yorke cracks Brennam with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Yorke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brennam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yorke controlling his opponent. Yorke with the ground and pound from mount. Yorke has control of Brennam's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brennam regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brennam trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Yorke keeps control of the position easily here as Brennam tries to buck him off.

Brennam is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Yorke gets his way!

Yorke shoots for a double leg takedown but Brennam sprawls well. He's pushed Yorke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Yorke on the wrong end of a nice hook. A big left from Brennam misses. Brennam throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yorke blocks a jab. Yorke bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yorke working the head and body with strikes. Yorke scoring with punches from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yorke is looking to take a break and control but Brennam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yorke regains half guard. Brennam is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Yorke to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brennam trying to move into half guard but instead Yorke has managed to sweep! Yorke is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Yorke wants to control from the top but Brennam keeps moving. Yorke is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Brennam keeping moving, preventing Yorke from controlling successfully. Brennam looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Yorke passes into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brennam is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Yorke is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brennam has escaped the position, nice work there. Brennam manages to work his way to half guard, despite Yorke's best efforts. Yorke content to control rather than advance. Brennam tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Yorke has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thom Yorke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's going to take a lot out of Thom Yorke. Yorke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brennam but Brennam pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brennam misses with a hook. Yorke ducked under it nicely. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yorke lands strikes from half guard. Brennam gets full guard. Yorke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Yorke stopping the sweep attempt from Brennam. Yorke trying to control but Brennam is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Brennam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yorke moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The fighters circling - Yorke throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brennam gets caught flat footed, as Yorke shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Brennam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yorke is one step ahead there. Yorke trying to control the position from guard on top but Brennam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yorke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Albert Brennam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Yorke lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Brennam wants to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yorke scoring with strikes to the body and head. Brennam tries to get to full guard but Yorke has control of the leg. Thom Yorke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yorke seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that's the end of the fight! Thom Yorke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Yorke winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
