PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kristof Pardi (ranked 2256 p4p, 3072 weight class) and Frank Rizzo (ranked 240 p4p, 309 weight class). Pardi comes to the cage accompanied by Party Boy Theme. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizzo catches Pardi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Pardi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rizzo blocks an uppercut.
Pardi cracks Rizzo with a nice body shot.
Pardi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pardi.
Pardi has a couple of punches blocked by Rizzo.
Pardi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Pardi is looking to break free of the clinch but Rizzo has double underhooks.

Pardi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pardi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pardi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rizzo.

Pardi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rizzo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
