The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vertongen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Del Bosque.
Del Bosque has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Severo Del Bosque has been cut.
Vertongen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Del Bosque to score with a decent uppercut.
A low kick from Vertongen misses
and Del Bosque counters with a nice body shot.
Severo Del Bosque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Del Bosque throws a hook but Vertongen blocks it.
Vertongen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Vertongen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A low kick from Del Bosque misses
and Vertongen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Del Bosque throws a predictable looking body shot
and Vertongen counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
