Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernest Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Copeland!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copeland tries to close the distance and clinch but Graves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Graves fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Copeland looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Graves feints and as Copeland raises his hands in defense, Graves changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Copeland bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Graves's guard.

Graves seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Graves, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Travis Copeland was interviewed post fight and said 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
