Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Volkanovski (ranked 4036 p4p, 3732 weight class) and Jet Gunner (ranked 502 p4p, 470 weight class). Volkanovski comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - Hail Mary. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkanovski throws a hook to the side of Gunner's head but Gunner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gunner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Volkanovski just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gunner's brow.

Gunner shoots in looking for a takedown. Volkanovski tries to sprawl out of it but Gunner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Volkanovski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jet Gunner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gunner shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Volkanovski manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gunner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Gunner wants to control from the top but Volkanovski keeps moving.

A very excited looking Aleksandar Volkanovski rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
