Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Boyington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vulfgang Takumi!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takumi misses with a double jab.
Boyington scores with a head kick.
Takumi lands with a cross.
Takumi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Takumi looks to throw the jab but Boyington is out of range.
Takumi blocks a leg kick.
Boyington looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boyington lands a big head kick that sends Takumi tumbling to the mat! Boyington takes a step backwards and waves Takumi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Takumi is rocked!
It looks like Vulfgang Takumi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Takumi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Boyington - the referee stops the clock and Takumi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Boyington. Takumi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Takumi is still on wobbly legs! Can Boyington finish him?
Takumi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Both fighters circling a little - Boyington finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Takumi blocks a leg kick.
Takumi seems to have recovered his senses.

Boyington shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Boyington is looking for a triangle but Takumi pushes his legs off easily.
Takumi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Takumi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boyington to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Takumi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boyington pulls down on the head and he's put Takumi to sleep! This one is all over!
