Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dale Diamond (ranked 4586 p4p, 4532 weight class) and Creighton McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 537 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Creighton McManus!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Diamond.
It looks like Creighton McManus has been cut.
Diamond feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McManus sprawling to the canvas! McManus rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Diamond finish him?!
Creighton McManus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McManus goes for a double leg but Diamond avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Diamond continues to drive forward.
Diamond throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diamond misses with a wild body shot.
McManus scores with a nice right hand.
McManus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Diamond throws a jab when McManus was well out of range.
Diamond throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McManus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Diamond loads up on a big right hand but McManus slips the punch.
McManus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McManus's corner calls for a 1-2. McManus obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Diamond avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Diamond throwing a counter right hand but McManus manages to avoid it.
Diamond throws a jab when McManus was well out of range.

McManus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Diamond has time to react.

Diamond takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McManus ducks under a wild hook from Diamond.
McManus looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Diamond cracks McManus with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McManus looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Diamond finish him?
Diamond takes one to the side of the head.
McManus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Diamond back to the cage. McManus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diamond drops McManus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McManus looks back up at him and smiles so Diamond waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
McManus is rocked!
Diamond swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McManus is still on wobbly legs! Can Diamond finish him?
Diamond fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks McManus square on the jaw! Damn, McManus is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dale Diamond!
