The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagull scores with a nice right hand.
Soto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Seagull.
Soto tries to counter with a clinch but Seagull shakes him off and moves away.
Seagull scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Seagull tries to keep at a distance but Soto has taken the fight into the clinch.
Soto is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Seagull to keep the fight standing.

Soto manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Seagull is looking to work some ground and pound but Soto has wrist control.

Seagull got a little sloppy there for a moment and Soto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Seagull has managed to get both his arms back between Soto's legs - danger averted.
Soto not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Seagull postures up in Soto's guard and throws a big left but Soto blocks it.

Soto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Seagull defends well.

Soto is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Seagull working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Soto working for a triangle but Seagull defends it easily.
Soto looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Seagull landing with the ground and pound.

Soto is looking for a triangle but Seagull pushes his legs off easily.
Soto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Soto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Seagull in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Seagull stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Soto throws up his legs and catches Seagull in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Seagull tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Soto! That came out of nowhere!
