The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dovydov cracks Maia with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Maia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Maia lands in his opponent's guard.
Dovydov is wriggling around but Maia manages to pass to half guard.
Maia seems to be looking for submissions.
Maia stops Dovydov from getting back to his feet.
Maia frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Maia controlling his opponent.
Dovydov has given up his back. Will we see Maia going for some submissions?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dovydov is trying to defend against the choke here but Maia has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Maia Tightens the hold and Dovydov taps out furiously! Maia displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
