Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snakovic throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnston.
Johnston is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Johnston throws a right and a left that Snakovic avoids nicely.
Johnston throws a body shot but no joy.
Johnston tries to clinch but Snakovic is having none of it.
Snakovic swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Snakovic shoots in but Johnston avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Snakovic dives in for a single leg takedown but Johnston sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Snakovic tries to keep at a distance but Johnston has taken the fight into the clinch.

Snakovic jumps guard but Johnston stands there with Snakovic around his waist. Snakovic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Snakovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnston gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnston accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Johnston postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snakovic is looking for a sweep. Johnston is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Johnston looks to land a strike but Snakovic avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Johnston is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Snakovic looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnston is one step ahead there.
Johnston has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Snakovic is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Johnston drives through and clinches with Snakovic against the cage.

and Johnston counters with a crisp one two that drops Snakovic! Johnston thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Snakovic to his feet! Snakovic is in big trouble!

That was a close round but I would say that Martin Johnston will probably get the nod.
