Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luis Abinader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eward Knight!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Abinader.
Abinader swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Knight.
Some wild striking there from Knight.
Knight slips a jab from Abinader.
Abinader pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Knight back to the ropes. Abinader follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Eward Knight has been cut.
Knight throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abinader connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Knight has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Knight gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Knight is rocked!
Knight drops his guard momentarily, allowing Abinader to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Knight! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Abinader takes it!
