Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikhail Popkov!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth throws a nice looking combination but Popkov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roth defending well as Popkov loads up on a big left hand.
Roth misses with the combination.
Popkov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Roth throws a big counter combination but Popkov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Popkov misses with an uppercut. Roth saw that one coming.
Roth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Popkov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roth closes this distance looking for a takedown but Popkov circles away.
Roth has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Roth there as he acknowledges the shot.
Roth will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Roth lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Mikhail Popkov has been cut.
Roth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roth looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Popkov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Popkov cracks a nice hook into Roth's ribs.
Nice defenses there by Roth.
Roth seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Roth misses with a straight left.

and Popkov counters with a straight right hand.
Roth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Popkov steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Popkov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Roth.
Popkov looks like he wants to counter punch here.

The fighters circle, before Popkov throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Roth's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Popkov lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
