Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wes Ekwall (ranked 1791 p4p, 2911 weight class) and Msujfnaud Mspomfad (ranked 56 p4p, 100 weight class). Ekwall comes to the cage accompanied by Enter the Sandman. Msujfnaud Mspomfad told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Ekwall.
No joy there for Ekwall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ekwall lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Msujfnaud Mspomfad has been cut.
Ekwall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ekwall misses with a wild combination.

Ekwall will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ekwall lands a big right hand that sends Mspomfad crashing to the mat! Ekwall stays standing though and waves Mspomfad back to his feet!
Ekwall has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ekwall lands with a right and another and another! Mspomfad is in big trouble! Ekwall lands again and this time it's lights out for Mspomfad! A quality knockout there for Ekwall.
