The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pote moves in looking to clinch but Jufee pushes him off.

and Jufee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jufee passes Pote's left leg - he's now in half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jufee seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jufee works his foot free and advances to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pote is in a horrible position here. Jufee smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Jufee loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Pote scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jufee land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jufee stands and salutes the crowd.
