Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christopher Chan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banjo scores with a spinning back kick!

Chan tries to clinch up but Banjo circles away and keeps his distance.

Banjo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chan tries to clinch up but Banjo circles away and keeps his distance.

Olu Banjo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chan moves out of range of the body kick.
Chan loads up on a big right hand but Banjo slips the punch.
Banjo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banjo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Chan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

and Banjo counters with a flying knee that drops Chan!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Banjo cracks Chan with a solid left hand.

Banjo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Banjo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Banjo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chan pushes Banjo off looking to stand but Banjo dives back in and keeps control.

Olu Banjo dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Banjo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chan can do to turn this around?

Banjo throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Chan stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Banjo follows into mount!

Chan is rocked!

It looks like Christopher Chan has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chan takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Banjo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Olu Banjo!
