Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Carvaleho (ranked 961 p4p, 1381 weight class) and Conor Butcher (ranked 130 p4p, 188 weight class). Butcher has chosen Eaten by Bloodbath as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor Butcher!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carvaleho throws out a powerful jab.
Carvaleho shoots in but no luck this time.
Butcher scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carvaleho doesn't seem bothered though.
Carvaleho ducks under a wild hook from Butcher.
Carvaleho looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Butcher is fending him off so far but Carvaleho persists. Nope, Butcher circles away and we're back to standing.

Carvaleho looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Butcher looks to land a combination but Carvaleho avoids it well.
Nice takedown defense from Butcher. No joy for Carvaleho on that attempt.

Butcher throws an overhand right that lands on Carvaleho's shoulder, as Carvaleho tries to avoid the shot.
Carvaleho looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Butcher moves out of range of the strikes.
Carvaleho looks to land a combination but Butcher avoids it well.
Carvaleho ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carvaleho throws a body punch but Butcher moves out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Butcher bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Carvaleho shoots in looking for a takedown but Butcher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carvaleho's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Carvaleho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Carvaleho throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Butcher works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Carvaleho is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Butcher still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Butcher has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Butcher wants to stand but Carvaleho is controlling his arm.
Carvaleho is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Butcher off and has taken his back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carvaleho is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Butcher is defending well though. Carvaleho let's go of the attempt for now.

Carvaleho looking to break Butcher's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Butcher remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Carvaleho will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Carvaleho is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Butcher is tapping out! This one is all over!
