Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Potemkin Izmaylov (ranked 271 p4p, 274 weight class) and Vasil Petrov (ranked 41 p4p, 42 weight class). Potemkin Izmaylov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vasil Petrov's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vasil Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Petrov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Petrov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Izmaylov has got the better of the exchanges.

A nice side step and Petrov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Petrov counters with a head kick that drops Izmaylov to the mat! Izmaylov scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Vasil Petrov tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
