Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hall (ranked 4465 p4p, 4467 weight class) and Jerry Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 372 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jerry Mouse!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mouse pushes Hall up against the cage in a clinch.

Hall pulls Mouse into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hall is on top in guard.

Hall pushes down on Mouse's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mouse wants to stand back up but Hall manages to pass into side control.
Mouse manages to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Mouse is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mouse!

Hall looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Mouse is desperately trying to improve his position but Hall has a good base and remains in mount.
Hall content just to control the position here.
Mouse tries to control Hall's body but Hall pushes him off. Mouse squirms to his side and now Hall has his back!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Hall looking to break Mouse's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Mouse remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hall will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hall has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mouse has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hall doesn't have the hooks in and Mouse manages to turn into his guard.
Mouse throws an elbow that misses. Hall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mouse's guard. Nice move by Hall!

Hall is standing up over Mouse. Mouse looks to escape but Hall dives into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hall controls the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Richard Hall dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hall fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mouse is out of range.

Hall takes the fight into the clinch.

Hall drags the fight down to the ground.
Mouse tries to stand but Hall is controlling from the bottom.
Hall wants to sweep here but Mouse controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mouse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mouse manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mouse defends well.

Hall has control of Mouse's left arm, preventing Mouse from doing any damage.
Mouse throws a big right hand that misses.
Mouse slips nicely into half guard.
Hall preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mouse wants to take a breather but Hall is having none of it.
Hall is pressing down on Mouse's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Hall trying to keep a closed guard but Mouse is proving a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mouse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mouse gets the takedown into side control.
Richard Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hall is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mouse off and has taken his back!
Hall keeps control of the position as Mouse tries to break free.
Hall controlling the position well here. Mouse rolled but Hall kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Hall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Mouse rolls, trying to escape but Hall keeps control of the position.

Further stalling from Hall.
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Hall is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Hall is persistently looking for the submission but Mouse is defending it well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Richard Hall dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mouse throws a series of punches but Hall avoids them all with ease.
Hall is looking to counter the offense by Mouse and move into the clinch.
Mouse throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A low kick from Mouse misses

and Hall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hall displaying some good clinch control by pressing Mouse up against the cage.

Mouse successfully pulls guard.
Hall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mouse is keeping the position for now.
Mouse working a defensive guard but Hall manages to pass into side control anyway.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mouse wants to hold on but Hall pushes him away.
Hall looking to control and managing it successfully.
Mouse tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hall content just to control the position here.
Hall avoids the attempt from Mouse to control.

Hall has isolated one of Mouse's arms. Mouse looking to fight him off but Hall twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
