Yabattoir's entrance music is Them A Big Chatter Box . A fine choice. Alex Barnes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Barnes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yabattoir is looking to counter the offense by Barnes and move into the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Barnes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barnes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yabattoir has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barnes has managed to get both his arms back between Yabattoir's legs - danger averted.

Yabattoir quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barnes has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! After the fight, Red Yabattoir was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
