Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herbert Kreischer (ranked 3350 p4p, 3021 weight class) and Danny Brook (ranked 409 p4p, 371 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Brook!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreischer with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Brook closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Brook is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kreischer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kreischer is looking for a sweep.
Brook wants to control but Kreischer is keeping him busy.
Kreischer tries to buck Brook off but Brook is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brook tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kreischer's legs.

Brook looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Brook is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kreischer sees it coming and defends easily.

Brook seems to be looking for submissions.

Brook wants to take a breather but Kreischer is having none of it.

Brook thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kreischer's head.

Kreischer has his hands clasped together around Brook's back. He's all about the action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Brook closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kreischer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brook throws a looping overhand right but Kreischer ducks down to avoid it.
Brook throws out a loose jab but Kreischer uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Kreischer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brook doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Danny Brook has been cut.

Kreischer forces Brook back against the cage and clinches.
With the fighters up against the cage, Brook throws an elbow but misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kreischer.
Kreischer misses with a knee strike.
Kreischer lands a body shot.
Kreischer connects with a knee to the head.
A hook to the body from Kreischer.
Brook goes for a takedown attempt but Kreischer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brook looks winded!
Brook takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Herbert Kreischer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kreischer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brooks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brook fails to land the takedown.
Brook gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kreischer.

Kreischer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kreischer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Herbert Kreischer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Brook.
