Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jufee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diego as he avoids it easily.
Jufee just misses with a punch to the body.
Jufee slips a jab from Diego.
And Jufee tries to counter it with a takedown but Diego pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Diego will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jufee is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Jufee has a takedown stuffed.
Diego is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jufee.
Jufee tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jufee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Don Diego has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathan Jufee.

Jufee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diego rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jufee is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Diego is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jufee connects with a nice short shot to Diego's temple.
Diego is trying to get back to full guard.
Jufee passes to side control.
Diego is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Diego is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Jufee swings around for an armbar but Diego sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jufee's guard.

Jufee controls Diego momentarily but Diego frees himself.

Jufee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Diego postures up in Jufee's guard and throws a big left but Jufee blocks it.
Diego trying to control the position from guard on top but Jufee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Diego throws a lazy right hand but Jufee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jufee fails to land the takedown.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Jufee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Diego tries to roll over but Jufee keeps him under control.
Jufee passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Diego!
